Tonight's Hanso ad came via Monster.com and pointed us to the Hanso Careers website. You can also see a link on the bottom of the main Hanso Foundation page.
There are five job openings right now:

There is a hidden link at the bottom of each job description. Just click Edit, Select All in your toolbar to reveal the link or click here.
Back on the job postings, did you notice anything interesting? How about some text in a slightly different font?

To clarify, this is the fabled "Board of Directors" password. You don't need to type in a user name.

Thanks for pointing that out. There was a small mistake in the first edition of this article. The password is "Inmate Asylum". Originally we just had the words in the wrong order.

Hey what gives I cannot click on the password area at all, ive been trying for a minute. do i have to do something before, im on a computer i dont usually use and i see nothing

There are two possibilities that I can think of. First, when I tried it, it didn't work the first time either. I think it was because I clicked on the username field first. When I tried it again, I went directly to the password field.
Next, if that doesn't help, there are some (Flash cache) files that are stored on your computer that keep up with your progress on the Hanso site. If you are on a new computer that you haven't used before, you may need to start from the beginning, remember "breaking strain" in the newsletter section?

Okay, I'm stuck... The board of directors site won't let me click on "submit" unless there's a username in that field as well. HELP!

I have the same problem, it won't let me submit it. If it works for someone, can you at least tell us what you get access to? Is Liddy in fact Liffy (or her twin sister?)
it only works on Vanderfield and Peck
I don't quite remember what I was doing... but on the board of directors page there is a small square box in the bottom left corner (you can only see it if you hit tab if your cursor is in the login box) anyways, if you click it, the blueish lights move around. I did this many times and I don't remember which board of director I was on, but I heard a scratching noise. I scrolled up and where the time should display it said OB:EY. I clicked on it and it sent me to like a different webiste. Once it loaded I saw the word "obey" in the middle of I think 6 tv blue screens. I clicked each screen until it turned yellow. Once all six screen were yellow it gave me a code... "Heir Apparent" ... what does this mean???
What's with the missing 'e's and 'n's in the descriptions????

type in widmore under the newsletter (sign up). then go to executive bios and cilk on board of directord cilk on jacob vanderfield then you should be able to click on the password and type in Inmate Asylum that should work.
Inmate Asylum doesn't work for me. Seems the password has been changed. :(
Password is incorrect according to my try.
Ok for all of you who can't get it to work. I got it to work. All that happens is Peck and Vanderfield get very grainy and the rest of the site is disabled. Don't know what that means.
You are right it does not work. But last time I did it I click on submit and it took me to diffrent site.
help i don't know what to do. when i type widmore in the newsletter sign up it says welcome back no new messages bye bye! p.s. did any know that you can zoom in on the newsletter page and above the place you type in widmore it says so lets get to know eachother.
On the Board of Directors page, I have found it best to enter the password first "Inmate Asylum" and then the username. You can take you pick of usernames, it doesn't matter.
Then as artdog pointed out yesterday Vanderfield's and Peck's photos have static in the backgroud.
If you keep your mouse over the Login/Password page you should be able to click anything in that area to launch the hidden content.

I had not seen the "Lets Get to Know Each Other" message before, thanks for pointing it out.
Also, once you have used the Breaking Strain trick with the newsletter, you will get the "Welcome back..." messgae regardless of what you type in. In other words, it is not tied to Widmore. You can type "hansoland" then click "Next" and the same thing will happen.
did any one notice when you go into the website it says "do you believe" and you answer y/n. last time I looked it said "are you one of the good ones?" dose this make a difference?

I was going on the website and I click on the ahanso/ on the index page and it took me to the bio page and under Alvar Hanso's picture october 28 2003 is highlighted CLICK ON IT!!!!!!!!
Ok I found out a lot of things.First I click on obey old news right WRONG! Next I sent Joop a message (I typed in how are you?) and it freak me out. Try it.
