The Valenzetti equation is also explained in another series by J.J. Abrams. In "Alias" it is explained as the code that predicted the end of the world and a picture of Sydney Bristoe on the page.

So, how do The Big Bopper and Buddy Holly factor into all this? What about Don Mclean? Do the words to "American Pie" explain the Valenzetti equation???
