I wanna go back to the island
What do Jimmy Buffett, Jack Shephard, and Frank Lapidus have in common?

As usual, we will try to keep this spoiler free for those of you who have not seen the episode yet, but if you have seen it and want to add some specific thoughts feel free to post to the comments section.
First off, what is the deal with everyone keeping secrets? Let’s take a look at some of key facts. It has obly been a few weeks since they crashed on this mysterious island. The folks in the tail section were picked-off by the Others over a couple of days. Roughly 20% have either been abducted or killed since the the crash, yet everyone wants to keep any discovery secret. Come on Locke & Eko; tell them about “The Pearl”! Just before they found Michael in The Hunting Party, Kate finally told Jack about the costumes and glue.

Who needs Valenzetti, when you've got Valens?
Check out the Wiki’s take on the Valenzetti Equation. It is part of the Lost Expereience, but I don’t know much more at this point other than Gary Troup's first book was The Valenzetti Equation.

Vaya con dios!
Since some of our readers might not have seen the show yet we will save the full recap for another day, but without giving away too much, here are a few quick thoughts:
I don't think I like the idea of the island passing info along via dreams. While it advances the story and keeps things mysterious it also adds a fairly high cheese factor. Everything has been quasi-realistic and could be explained by a Man of Science, but the whole dream thing really only works for a Man of Faith. What's next, identity masks ala Alias and Mission Impossible?
I loved the location of Sawyer's secret stash. Maybe between reading Judy Bloom and The Bad Twin he snuck in a little Sun Tzu.
Love her or hate her, Ana Lucia will be missed. I know she got popped during Two for the Road, but the end of the scene was replayed last night. For a serial drama to work you must have characters like her that divide the audience. Take Terry on Survivor: Exile Island, you know, a divider and not a uniter. Anyway, Ana Lucia had the skills and personality to be a real asset to the group. In the coming episodes they will really miss her.
